About Us

We are parents, teachers, staff, students, alumni & community members

In May of 2023, we began meeting to discuss options for a new organization that could grow and evolve to meet the needs of John Marshall High School. We decided that a PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association) provided the greatest number of opportunities for community involvement and fundraising. We have been hard at work laying the foundation and are eager to hear your concerns and ideas.

2026 Marshall Annual Fund Drive

Our annual Fund Drive begins September 17th. This is our largest fundraiser of the year and a direct way to support our school.

Last year, the PTSA mobilized support from our Marshall families and the community to:

• Fund the Class of 2026 Graduation at the Greek Theatre
• Purchase five new lunch tables and benches
• Purchase four new weight room machines
• Fund Special Education classroom resources
• Purchase shade structures for the baseball team
• Support teachers with AP training & ongoing professional development 
• Create the Model United Nations student grant
• Purchase Large Format printer supplies
• Replace old equipment for our band and orchestra clubs
• Celebrate Teacher Appreciation week with lunch for our faculty
• Provide yearbooks for seniors experiencing housing instability
• Purchase six new campus sandwich boards
• Provide additional support for all 25 Marshall Athletics programs
• Fund the school-wide screening of “Counted Out”

WE NEED YOUR VOICE

The larger our PTSA, the better we can advocate for our school and our students. Anyone can join! Dues are just ten dollars per year.
